AN ENERGY EFFICIENT MINDSET
In 2021, Williams Lake First Nation worked alongside BC Hydro during the planning and construction of Sugar Cane Cannabis for advice on energy efficiency. Ultimately, Sugar Cane Cannabis opted for LED lighting and energy-efficient construction techniques to create the smallest possible environmental footprint. Sugar Cane Cannabis is the first cannabis company in the Province to partner with BC Hydro through the Sustainable Energy Program.

CULTIVATION
Our journey begins with carefully selected seeds planted and nurtured in our state-of-the-art facility. Our cultivation team, led by our Master Grower, implements advanced growing techniques while adhering to strict sustainable practices. We prioritize the health of our plants, and the environment, by utilizing energy-efficient LED lighting and responsible water management systems.

TRIMMING
Once our plants have reached their peak, our skilled team hand-trims each bud with precision and care. This artisanal approach preserves the integrity of the flower, ensuring that our customers receive the finest product with the full spectrum of flavours, aromas, and effects.

DRYING
Our natural drying process is crucial for achieving the perfect moisture balance in our cannabis products. We meticulously control temperature and humidity levels in our drying rooms to create an ideal slow and even drying environment. This process helps preserve our strains' terpene profiles and potency while preventing mould and mildew growth.
